Der Twitterchat #EDchatDE für Lehrende feiert seine 200. Ausgabe: Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Der Twitterchat #EDchatDE, den Torsten Larbig und ich im Jahr 2013 gegründet haben und seitdem durchführen wird 200 – genau gesagt, die 200. Ausgabe findet am 06.03.2018 statt. Das muss man feiern und wir haben uns überlegt, dazu zwei bekannte US-Moderatoren einzuladen, die diese besondere Ausgabe moderieren die unter dem Titel „Making international connections for learning and sharing in the digital age“ steht. We are happy to celebrate the 200th issue of Twitterchat #EDchatDE together with you. The theme is „Making international connections for learning and sharing in the digital age“.

And we are particularly pleased that we were able to win two of the best known US American Twitterers as guest moderators for this special edition:
@ShellTerrell, the founder of the great Twitterchat #EDchat, which served as a model for the #EDchatDE when it was founded in 2013. Shelly has supported our idea and us from the very beginning and has also moderated several #EDchatDE-s as a guest.

Shelly Sanchez Terrell is an adjunct professor in Texas, an international speaker, the author of 3 books, and the founder of various award winning educational chats, online conferences, online courses, and MOOCs. She has been recognized by various entities, such as the ELTon Awards, The New York Times, and Microsoft’s Heroes for Education, as an innovator in the movement of teacher driven professional development, education technology, elearning, and mobile learning. She has trained teachers in 100+ countries and taught students in the US, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, and Greece. She is also the co-founder of the Bammy Award winning #Edchat and the ELTon shortlisted #ELTChat.

@TheBradCurrie, one of the founders of the great #satchat, in which we participate ourselves with joy and profit on a regular basis. Brad invited us some time ago as guest moderators for a #satchat issue. We would like to return the favour.

Brad has been an educator for more than 17 years as a coach, teacher, and administrator. He currently serves as a Director of Planning, Research, and Evaluation for the Chester School District in Chester, New Jersey. Brad is the 2017 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year and part of the ASCD Emerging Leaders Class of 2014. He is the co-founder and co-moderator of a weekly Twitter discussion for educators called #satchat. Brad has authored four books including 140 Twitter Tips for Educators and Hacking Google for Education. He presents nationally on leadership, teaching, and learning in the digital era. Brad currently serves as an adjunct professor in Drew University’s Graduate School of Education. He also is a Google Certified Trainer and supports districts in implementing Google Apps for Education.
